“I have lived on the lip of insanity, wanting to know reasons, knocking on a door. It opens.
– Rumi
I’ve been knocking from the inside!”
We are free. We are always free. It’s not that we have to do anything to feel this way – rather – we have to let go of all the distractions and assumptions in our own minds that lead us to believe otherwise.
What do you wish for right now? Why will that imagination be so much better than what you have now?
This is often misunderstood, to imply “there is no point – why do anything at all“. Quite the contrary. Marvel in everything happening around you. Enjoy every ounce of it, for as long as it comes, all the while knowing you can be as satisfied in this exact moment as you are ever going to be. There is no imaginary future you that will feel be in a better position to see this. The future is always and forever that- imaginary.
